White House Names Leader of HBCU Initiative

Washington — John Silvanus Wilson Jr., an associate professor of higher-education administration at George Washington University, has been named executive director of the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities. In the job, he will work with a presidentially appointed Board of Advisers and act as a liaison between the executive branch and the HBCU’s. —Kelly Field
